How To Make a Moisturizing Homemade Avocado Hair & Skin Mask

Avocado Hair Mask 2 | Beauty Wellbeing

For the Hair Mask You will need:

  • A fully ripe avocado
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of almond oil
  • 2 spoons of yogurt 

1. Add all the ingredients in a bowl and blend them until it turns into a smooth, creamy paste, totally free from lumps.

2. Apply the mask to your hair. Work in small sections at the time and massage the cream into the hair follicles. Start from the ends gradually walk your way to the roots.

3. Cover with a plastic shower cap or a hot treatment cap and let the mask sit for about 15-30 minutes.

4. Rinse your hair thoroughly with warm water. Use your fingers effectively to remove all avocado remains. 

5. Follow up with your favorite shampoo and conditioner.

For the Face Mask You will need:

  • half ripe avocado
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of almond oil
  • 1 spoon of yogurt (or 2 spoons of milk)

1. Add all the ingredients in a bowl and blend them until it turns into a smooth paste. Avoid any lumps.

2. Gently apply it to your face and neck. Avoid the eye area. 

3. Allow the mixture to sit on your face for 10-15 minutes

4. Remove the mixture with lukewarm water.

5. Follow up with your favorite moisturizer.

 

Beauty Wellbeing Tips

1. Select a fully ripe avocado so that it's easier to blend and mash.

2. Make sure you rinse your hair thoroughly to remove all avocado residues.

3. If you have very damaged hair, leave the mask on your hair longer. 

4. When applying the mask your face and neck, or hair, make sure to wear a towel over your shoulders or chest to absorb any drips.
