Angeline Jolie, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Kylie Jenner – these bombshells are beauty icons.

But they have one particular feature that takes their appeal to the next level – their pouty lips!

There’s just something sexy and alluring about plump and full lips!

We may not be all gifted with natural voluptuous lips, but with makeup nothing is impossible!

Here’s how you can get instant pouty lips without going under the knife.

Prep your lips

When you have smooth and hydrated lips, the products you put on top will stay longer. Prep your lips by applying lip treatments, exfoliating them, and then finish off with a lip balm. One of our favorite lip treatments is the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. You can apply it after your nighttime skincare routine and leave it overnight. You’ll wake up with the softest lips! For exfoliation, you can create your own mixture of honey and sugar. You then apply it on your lips and gently rub in circular motions to remove the dry skin. After this, infuse more moisture on your lips by using Burt’s Bees Ultra Conditioning Lip Balm.

Apply concealer

You can put concealer or foundation over your lips so you’ll have a blank canvas. This will hide the dark edges on your lips, and it will make any product you put on top last longer.

Overline them

If you have thin lips, all you need to do is overline them to make your lips appear bigger. Use a shade darker than your lipstick color so you’ll create a shadow effect, making it look more natural. If you want to enhance your pout further, you can contour your lips as well. You can add an ashy colored contour underneath the center of your lower lip and just a little above the line of your overlined lips to create the illusion of fuller-looking brows. You can look for your perfect lip liner in our wide range of selections here.

Use nude lipsticks

You can use any shade of lipstick you want as long as you use the right shade of lip pencil when you overline but nude lipsticks are the best natural-looking and most plumping! Darker shades tend to flatten the lips, but nudes will help give the pouty effect. Beauty Wellbeing has a wide range of lipsticks from nudes to hot reds, and you can find them here. If you want to take it a step further, you can also apply lip gloss so your lips will look extra juicy! You can find our lip glosses here.

Highlight the cupid’s bow

For the added oomph to your new and fantastic pout, grab your highlighter and apply it on your cupid’s bow. The highlight will bring that part of your lips forward, giving the illusion of pouty lips!
